Kajsa's a poet and I didn't know it! :)
Hello ladies and gentlemen;
I am Dr. Burgermeistermeisterburger.
Some of you may know me from Kajsa’s reading journal, others may know me from Kajsa’s Science presentation on allergies, and a select few may know me from Santa Claus is Coming to Town. I assure you that I have nothing against toys at this present time, however, I would prefer if you would kindly remove all of them from the premises.
Anyways, Kajsa, the owner and writer of this blog, is currently busy doing her homework (after putting it off for a while, that is. Tsk tsk!), therefore she asked me to update her blog with this poem she 'had' to start in English. She didn't sound very enthusiastic about it, but I personally think as a first draft, that it's rather good! Have a look...
'I am'
I am myself;
A Pandora’s box full of words, sights, ideas, and dreams.
I am myself;
A young girl who believes that the only true religion should be Love.
I am myself;
Full of many fears, even though I constantly tell myself otherwise.
I am myself;
With so many irregularities that I barely know them all.
I am myself;
Not a poet, a novelist or a reporter; just a student trying to find her passion.
I am myself;
Nothing and no one can change that

Pretty 'cool', as you young kids say, right?
I will leave you with that for now.
Ta-ta!

P.S Here's a funny joke that Kajsa found.
A couple of hunters are out in the woods in the deep south when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, and his eyes are rolled back in his head.
The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls 911. He gasps to the operator, "My friend is dead! What can I do?"
The operator, in a calm and soothing voice, says, "Alright, take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead."
There is silence, and then a gun shot is heard.
The hunter comes back on the line. "Okay. Now what??"

Puzzles..
Writing is like a thousand piece puzzle in many ways. In the beginning, all that you have is a photo, or a picture in your mind of how it will turn out. However, it may take a long time to find all the right pieces to make that end product possible.
When you're putting the puzzle together, you often find yourself stuck in a rut, just staring at the pieces, wondering which one will fit. That is, until, out of the blue, you have a lead. And then you're on a roll. I am, at this moment, 'stuck in a rut'. I have been searching and searching for that promising lead for the past few weeks, but I still cant find that last piece of the puzzle for my story!
I am thinking about what should happen next, and I would like to ask a bit of input from you all. Do you think Alyssa is a freckly red-head, a short girl with wavy brown hair, or something completely different? How do you picture Brent? Draw a picture or dig those great descriptive words from the back of your brain, and when you comment, be sure to include them :). I love to hear what you have to say!
Enjoy the last few days of your summer, and thanks for all of your support!
